Disney never reprinted this book. Gladstone did in 1987 but, not in the comic book format. Barks says that "Voodoo Hoodoo" iwas inspired by "The White Zombie" staring Bela Legosi. The model for Bombie was a painting that came with the story "I Met a Zombie in The American Weekly in 1942.
