After about issue #31 the Tarzan issues that are in very good condition become very reasonable, considering that they are of the golden age of comics.
Brothers of the Spear 1st appear in Tarzan #25. They are serial stories that continue through three to four issues. Serials are great if you have all the issues, but if you don't the stories just aren't as good. Some might suggest that the atmospheric pressure is lower around these comics if you really like Brothers of the Spear.

| A moment in comic
history, dateline 1962. Stan Lee introduces Spider-Man, The Hulk & Thor drawn by Steve Ditko, Dick Ayers, & Jack Kirby.
Gomer: It's damp under there. Could be spiders. Barney: Now what makes you think there's spiders under there? Gomer: Cause... If I were a spider that's where I'd go. Barney: Gomer there are no spiders under there. now get movin'. Gomer: I don't know. Sure looks pretty spidery to me. Barney: ...Gomer, get down there with them spiders and start workin'. |
