Our Army at War SGT ROCK #57 VG $30 "Ten- Minute Break!" "The Big Eye!" "Battlefield Bow!" Note: My scanner is starting to go out. It has scanned over 10,000 pages & after scanning a few comics it starts leaving yellow stripes on the pages. The yellow stripes are not due to aging. I will be getting a new scanner shortly. |

| A moment in comic
history, dateline 1936. With the popularity of Famous Funnies #1 every major newspaper publishers jumped on the comic book bandwagon with titles like; Tip Top Comics, King Comics, Wow Comics & The Funnies. The first comic to use original material devoted to one subject was Detective Picture Stories published by The Comics Magazine Company.
