Our Army at War SGT ROCK #51 VG $30 1st Silver Age Issue "Battle Tag!" "The Talking Gunsight!" "The Iron Horse!" "The Phantom Sergent!" Note: My scanner is starting to go out. It has scanned over 10,000 pages & after scanning a few comics it starts leaving yellow stripes on the pages. The yellow stripes are not due to aging. I will be getting a new scanner shortly. |

history, dateline 1934. Max C. Gaines thought that if the giveaway comics were so successful, that he could sell them for a dime. Eastern Color published 35,000 copies of Famous Funnies #1 for Dell in July of 1934. They sold out.
