(1986-1990)

Murry's Mickey Mouse is the Mouse that most people think of, when they think of Mickey. Mickey has been around since 1929 & the Mickey of the 1930's was very different than the Mickey of today. The Mickey of the 1930's was a pistol packing palooka, intent on purveying punishment to Pete & his pug-nosed punks. Floyd Gottfredson was the primary comic book artist for the Mickey Mouse Strip and later the Comic Book from 1929 to the early 1950's. Detective Comics #38 comes out introducing Robin. Wiz Comics introduces Captain Marvel, the only super-hero to out sell Superman. Batman Comics, Doc Savage Comics & All-Star Comics are also published in 1940.
