Kit's Silver Age Comic Books Fun 'N' Games
Learning how to build a web page, with the knowledge of a rock, has it's own unique learning process. I really only wanted to accomplish one thing, to put a scan of every comic book cover that I had on the web. It was tough at first, but after a few hundred, one gets the hang of it. Long story, short, I needed to amuse myself during the long learning process. It is amazing some of the things that are possible. I searched the web for some of the games, I enjoyed in my youth. Games that I wasted quarters, that would be better spent on comic books. Since moving my site, I have access to a great deal of information about what files are being downloaded. This tells me that there are people that come to my site, that waist a lot of time reading comics and playing games. This page is for all you slackers.

Java Games & Puzzles
| Break Out This game is not as good as the arcade version. It is a mindless diversion. Different levels. |
Asteroids This is a really good game, if it loads right. I have also included my first logo for Kit's Silver Age Comics. It reminds me of the wonderful sunsets we get here, in the panhandle of Texas. |
Pac-Man I can not do this one very good. I am just not very good on the keyboard. With a little practice, it has possibilities. |
Missile Command This one is pretty good, but tends to be unreliable. |
| Rat
in a Maze Entice a rat with cheese & navigate a maze. |
![]() Wally: Eddie, we can't go without my brother. Eddie: Who needs him? He already paid his dough for the ticket... Oh, good morning, Mrs. Cleaver. Poor little fellow-- I wouldn't want him to miss this outing for anything. June: Really, Eddie? Eddie: Oh, yes -- I've always felt that older boys should devote more time to the little ones. |
![]() Barney: Yes, boys, take a good look. This is the last stop on the road to crime. A man confined to prison is a man who has given up his liberty, his pursuit of happiness. No more carefree hours, no more doing whatever you want . No more peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. |
Bridges Stay one step ahead of the computer. |
| Avalanche This is a marble game I had at one time, converted to a computer game. It has adjustable complexity. |
The Snake Pit Eat the mice, but do not hit the wall. |
Tux Slide on the ice with Tux. |
Defenders
of the Moon Defend the Moon. If you can. |
The Library
When I was young, a lot of drug stores did not like carrying comics because, kids would hang around reading comics in front of the magazine rack. The common retort was, "This is a store, not a Library!". Anyway, read all you want, I don't mind & it won't cost a dime. Keep in mind the originals of these comics would cost mega-bucks, if you could even find them.
