Goober is Mayberry's biggest comic fan. He likes one real comic; Spiderman & a number of phony titles like; Space Phantom, Purple Avenger, & Grunge Monster. As best I can tell the comic he is reading is a DC. They are deliberately trying to hide the cover, but the pages have the DC logo.
