In this series Gladstone reprints Barks earliest comic book Four Color #9(1942) Donald Duck Finds Pirate Gold! (the most valuable Barks tale). Donald Duck Finds Pirate Gold! was written by Carl Barks and Jack Hanna (who was this guy? This is my lame attempt at sarcasm. Of course Jack Hanna is the same Hanna of Hanna/Barberra the cartoons that were on every Saturday morning of my youth. ). The story is good but not one of Barks best. I think Disney plotted the whole story, but the art work is great.
