Batman Comics
Batman begins with Batman # 1 in the spring of 1940.
Batman started in the spring of 1940 with Batman #1. With the success of Detective, DC reprinted the two page origin of Batman printed in Detective #33 with a number of issues intended for Detective. Batman first resides in Manhattan. Batman continues to be printed today.
