Carl Barks Library in Color
The Carl Barks Library was originally printed as a 10 volume set with 3 books per volume for a total of 30 books in 1986-1990. These volumes were in black & white & included all of Carl Barks work on the ducks. This version is in color & I do not believe that they (Gladstone/Another Rainbow) finished reprinting the whole thing although, they did get to most of the major stories. I believe Gladstone planned to make additional printings of these books because they have the same publication information as a first print book. There was only one printing & as I said before they did not complete the reprinting of the original Carl Barks Library ( I have a complete 30 volume set, but they are not for sale. Do not even ask). I have included dates of publication but I am not certain that they are correct because not all publication dates are listed. I know they were printed from 1992-1996 but most of the time the date listed is just an educated guess on my part. You might say an assumption. You know what they say when you assume.... This is not really true. I was told in the Navy you should never make assumptions, because of the little saying I alluded to & will not repeat. The truth is the best sailors were the ones that made assumptions all the time; just not wrong ones.
